Each and every year, many talented wrestlers make their way in the WWE. However, not all of them are utilized properly. While some wrestlers get the spotlight and good bookings others are overlooked or underutilized.
At present, many superstars in WWE are wasted or their talents are overlooked. They get the treatment of second class wrestlers, despite being fan favorite or being top notch players. Here is a list of some wrestlers who are not properly booked.
5. Finn Balor
Every WWE fan knows that Finn Balor was the first ever Universal Champion in the WWE. Post that, he never got any good bookings and has been mostly utilized as a jobber. This is really disheartening, considering Balor is one of the best in ring talents in the WWE.
He is hardworking, takes risks and loves to put his body on the line. Balor deserves a good run as a champion in WWE. It would also be wise to use his demonic character on screen to give him a possible heel turn. Hope, his fortune changes in 2019.
Rusev is another wrestler, who often gets neglected despite being one of the best wrestlers on the WWE. He has an outstanding physique and after multiple failed bookings, finally he won the United States Championship. Rusev has defeated the likes of John Cena, and, has a great reputation among the WWE fans.
The end of 2018 has been somewhat good for Rusev. He can be an asset for WWE if he is correctly booked in proper feuds. Will things change for him in 2019, is a question the creative team and management can answer to the fans and viewers.
3. Booby Roode
It is really sad to see Bobby Roode being used as a tag team wrestler, when clearly he is a world champion material. When Roode was signed be WWE, everyone expected him to headline and main event PPVs. Unfortunately, he has been given runs as secondary Champions like NXT, United States and Tag Team Champions.
A heel turn would do much justice to his character. He can do miraculous stuffs if he is given the reign of a world Champion. The WWE fans are voicing their opinion, and, the McMahon's should heed to their chants.
2. Mojo Rawley
Mojo Rawley's only accomplishment in the WWE is winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He deserves at least a mid card Championship run. He could be a tough and good contender for the Intercontinental Champion. A rivalry between Rawley and Ambrose should be a treat to watch.
Unfortunately, he has been made to compete against new and useless jobbers, therby reducing his stature as a future champion. Baron Corbin failed to deliver justice to his character. It's for the McMahon's to give him a good run in 2019, else he should leave WWE.
1. Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin is a world class athlete who deserves a good run as a United States or the WWE champion. His return in WWE was a highly talked about event, which simply faded away owing to improper bookings. Benjamin, has had very limited opportunities, and WWE should use a veteran like him to squeeze out all his experiences to nurture young talents.
He deserves one final run as the US Champion before his retirement. His contribution to World Wrestling Entertainment is enormous, and he should get a proper retirement that he so much deserves.
