Each and every year, Wrestlers work hard to win matches and achieve new heights. Not every wrestler reaches that level of success. In 2018, many wrestlers won Championships and achieved high levels of professional success. However, 2018 is over, and, in 2019 many other players would be aiming to climb the ladder and show the world that they are the best. Here are four such players who can own 2019 and make it their year.
4. Samoa Joe
Perhaps the most underrated superstar currently, Samoa Joe is one of the most talented wrestlers in SmackDown history. He had an amazing record in Impact Wrestling and NXT. However, ever since he joined the main roster, he has not been utilized properly in either RAW or SmackDown.
However, 2019 could very well be his year. WWE has received lot of flak for ignoring and under utilizing Joe. He might very well win the Money in the Bank, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and will become a World Champion for sure. Let's see what in fate for this brawler.
3. Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks is a former four times RAW Women's Champion and also a NXT Women's Champion. She is one of the best in-ring talents in the WWE. She can give quality matches and can perform both as a heel and as a face. It seems 2019 is going to be the year for Sasha Banks.
She is supposed to face Ronda Rousey for the Championship at the Royal Rumble. This could be the beginning of big things that Banks can deliver to the WWE Universe in 2019. Fans would love to see her as the Champion.
2. Andrade Cien Almas
Almas is also a former NXT Champion who is getting a lot of push recently. He is one of the most promising talents and WWE would not bury him. Last year, he competed against the likes of AJ Styles, John Cena and such legends. In 2019, he will sure-shot get either a United States Championship run or a WWE Championship run. The WWE creative team would bring the best out of him to entertain the fans.
1. Braun Strowman
Strowman had a wonderful 2018. He won the RAW Tag Team Championship, the Money in the Bank contract, and, the Greatest Royal Rumble. He decimated almost every possible wrestler who crossed paths with him. However, he failed to capture the Universal title. This year, he would try to fulfill that dream.
At the Royal Rumble this year, he is facing Brock Lesnar for the Championship. He is most likely to win and would keep continue dominating the roster. Let's hope all this predictions happens in reality.
