Bank Recruitment Of Junior Associates In Delhi

Delhi Bank in India has announced recruitment for more than 9000 vacant Junior Associate posts in clerical cadre. Graduates (in any discipline) in the age group of 20-28 years are eligible for the recruitment. Those availing reservation benefits need to go through the age relaxation norms given in the official notification. Online registration portal for the clerical recruitment will remain open till 10 February 2019. According to the schedule, clerk preliminary examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of March/April 2019 and the main examination will be conducted tentatively on May 12, 2019.Aspirants should note that ex-servicemen with matriculate qualification who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education (or corresponding certificate in Navy or Air Force) are also eligible to apply, provided the certificates should be dated on or before 1 January 2019.Before applying candidates must ensure that they are proficient in the language of the State. A test to check the proficiency of the candidate in the local language will be conducted, after the main exam. The final appointment of candidates will depend on the performance in this test. Selection process

  • Candidates will have to take an online preliminary exam and the main exam followed by the local language test.
  • The preliminary exam will be of one-hour duration, carrying 100 marks and divided into three sections: English language (30 marks), numerical ability (35 marks) and reasoning ability (35 marks). Candidates will get 20 minutes for each section.
  • The number of candidates selected for the main exam will be approximately 10 times the number of vacancy in that category.
  • The two-hour main exam will carry 200 marks and will be divided into four sections: General and financial awareness (50 marks) General English (40 marks), quantitative aptitude (50 marks) and reasoning ability and computer aptitude (60 marks).
  • Candidates will get 35 minutes each for general and financial awareness and general English and 45 minutes each for quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability section.
  • Marks obtained in the main exam will only be considered for making the provisional selection list.
  • Candidates, who produce the necessary certificate proving they studied the specified local language, will not have to undergo the language test otherwise compulsory for others

Age limit

Candidates applying for the job should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on January 1, 2018, or they should not be born before January 2, 1990, and not after January 1, 1998 (both days inclusive).

Salary

According to the SBI Clerk Notification, total in-hand salary for a Clerk in a tier-1 city like Mumbai will be Rs. 20,950/- inclusive of DA and other allowances.

  • In-hand Pay in Class Z Cities: Rs. 19,000/-
