day 2

Hello!

Well, yesterday was nearly a disaster day for me, my anxiety was so bad. As soon as i woke up i knew it was going to be a bad day, i was overthinking everything and my thought were taking over and all i felt like doing was crawling back into bed and crying but then my anxiety wins the battle and i wasn't going to let that happen. I thought it can't really be a bad day unless i make it into a bad day and let my anxiety take over. Having control of your anxiety isn't always the easiest thing but there are ways to help it. For starters i can always tell when I'm going to get anxiety just because I've had it for so long and i know some specific things that will trigger it, like i stated in my last post about making phone calls, going to the shops etc. If i feel my anxiety starting i always try to take a whole heap of deep breaths ( close your eyes, breathe in through your nose for a count of 3, hold for 3, breathe out your mouth) and just try and relax for a little bit after you have calmed down a little, start changing the thoughts going through your head to make your anxiety worse into positive things! when i go to the shops knowing that there is a crowd of people scares me and I'm not afraid to say that i try and picture being in a place i really enjoy being that makes me happy and calm, so the beach for example. Even if you're just sitting at home and you're having a major panic attack do your breathing and picture being somewhere you really want to be, just close your eyes, breathe and just be in that " happy place” people can just this and say whatever they want, but it does work for some people, I'm not saying this will work for everyone.

Everyone has fears right? whether they are big or small, everyone can concur their fears. Whether it's a fear of driving, traveling, spiders even, those fears can be overcome. Get out there and just drive, breathe relax don't let bad thoughts in your head and go have fun and drive! Scared of traveling? HELL NO! GO TRAVELING! GO SEE THE WORLD WHILE IT'S STILL SO BEAUTIFUL. we have one very short life, might not seem like it for some people but our life time is short and in that time we can only do certain things some people don't even get the chance to do the things they have always dreamed to do, so if you have the opportunity to do everything you dreamed of then just do it.
