If you're tired of looking of a great place to eat after a full day of wandering around the beach, look no further than this swanky steakhouse so close to the beach, you can get a full view of the pier and the ocean from their perfectly-placed outdoor patio. You'll get plenty of traffic from the street, too, though, so get ready to breathe as many fumes as fresh sea salt air.
The food is expensive, as should be expected from such a place. You're paying for the ambiance and location as well as the quality- which is up there, the decor is modern-chic with a touch of bohemia. I mean, there's a tree smack-dab in the middle of the dining room.
The portions are moderately-sized depending on what you're getting. The appetizers are small, the entrees are hefty, and the desserts are petite but flavorful. The thing to get when coming to such a fancy steakhouse is, of course, steak; or at least something with meat in it. The quality of the meat is some of the best you'll find. I mean, it's pretty hard to ruin a perfectly good steak, but these guys know how to bring out the most exquisite notes from whatever it is they're cooking. The BOA Burger is one enormous beast of a burger and cooked to perfection, per your tastes. It's served up like a regular burger with all the trimmings and plenty of cheese, bacon, and veggies.
The rest of the entrees vary from salmon to salads to sandwiches and everything in between. You'd be hard-pressed not to find something to make your taste buds happy. Dessert is also available, and may I recommend the chocolate mousse with espresso & cream? It is the perfect finisher to this most epic of meals. And what better way to end a day at the beach, than dining out in the fresh air next to it?
