Classy vibes abound in this place, whether you're deciding to dine in the small, but cozy dining room inside near the bar, at the bar, or outside in their gorgeous & spacious patio, which is shaded by a beautiful tree & secluded by high walls with plenty of foliage for the ultimate brunch spot. The ambiance is always chill & the servers are all friendly, which is surprising considering part of the tip is included in the final bill.
The brunch menu is modest, but has a well-rounded selection of boozy cocktails, wine by the glass, & bottled beers. The food section offers a bit of the sweet stuff from Spelt Pancakes with espresso syrup & whipped ricotta, French Toast with currants & candied orange, & Farro Porridge with almond milk, bananas, blueberries raisins, maple syrup, nuts, & seeds.
The savory section features Benedict Poached Eggs with prosciutto, Citrus Cured Salmon Crostino with herbed cream cheese, & their whopping $22 Ponte Burger with tomato mostarda, horseradish aioli, pickled shallots, smoked mozzarella, & fried egg.
One of my favorite cocktails, is their Lucano Correcto ($13), which is made with coffee-infused amaro lucano, Cafe Moka, Cream, & Shaved Bitter Chocolate.
The Spelt Pancakes ($12) are pretty delicious. Definitely on the sweeter side
and probably better for you than regular wheat pancakes due to the spelt. Also incredibly smooth.
The Egg White Fritatta ($15) is okay. Piping hot when it gets to you, but a little too strong on the olive flavor and too hot for the tongue if you bite into it too quickly.
The Ponte Burger ($22) was definitely the clear winner of this meal. Buttery, slightly sweet from the Brioche bun, a certain something extra from that horseradish aioli. One of the best burgers in LA for sure, purely based on texture if nothing else.
Vibe, food, drank, it's all there, guys. Bring yo' money, but definitely come. It's worth it!
