WWE’s Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view is the final PPV before the Royal Rumble. The card for the PPV looks stacked and we should be in for a good PPV. I will predict each match that is set or expected to be on the card but the card is subject to change.
Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre
This match was announced randomly but should be a good match. Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre always put on good matches. McIntyre is a rising star in the WWE and is poised for a big push in 2019. He has all the talent to be the top guy in WWE. Balor has been lost lately and could use a brand switch as a change of scenery. I do not see McIntyre losing to Balor. McIntyre will win this match and it could be the start of a major push for him.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre wins the match
Bobby Lashley vs Elias
This is another match that was announced randomly. Lashley has been having a good heel run with Lio Rush as his manager. Elias turned face to a huge pop from the crowd. Elias is one of the most over superstars with the fans and deserves a push. Elias could be in line for a push and a great way to start the push is with a victory over Lashley. I predict Elias wins this match.
Prediction: Elias wins the match
TLC Match: Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin
This match may not take place if Strowman is not medically cleared. If this match does take place, it has major implications for both men. If Corbin loses and Strowman wins, Corbin is not the General Manager of Raw anymore and Strowman faces Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Title. I predict Strowman wins the match, if medically cleared.
Prediction: Braun Strowman wins the match
TLC Match: WWE Smackdown Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka
Becky Lynch is the best thing going in the WWE right now. She just got medically cleared from a concussion and will put her title on the line in a triple threat match. This could be the match of the night with three of the top female superstars in the match. Asuka seems to be an afterthought right now in the WWE and I do not think she wins this match. I have a feeling Asuka is in this match to be the one that gets pinned. Becky Lynch is rumored to be fighting Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania and I think she does this by winning the Royal Rumble, which leads me to believe Charlotte Flair will win this match.
Prediction: Charlotte Flair wins the match and becomes new SmackDown Women’s Champion
WWE RAW Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs Nia Jax
Nia Jax may be the most hated person in WWE right now for giving Becky Lynch a concussion. Jax earned this title match by winning a battle royal at the Evolution PPV. Rousey has been very impressive in the ring and she has been putting on some very good matches. I do not see Rousey losing her title any time soon and will keep it until at least WrestleMania. Rousey will win this match.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey wins the match and retains
WWE United States Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Rusev
Nakamura attacked Rusev before their match could start on an episode of SmackDown, which likely means we will get this match for the US title at the TLC PPV. Nakamura has had no direction of late and Rusev has not either. This match could end up on the kickoff show and if it does, Nakamura will likely retain. If this ends up on the actual PPV, Rusev has a chance to win the match. I am going to go with Nakamura winning this match and retaining his title.
Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura wins the match and retains
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose
This will be one of the better matches of the PPV. Ambrose turned heel on the night Reigns announced his leukemia returned. Rollins has been one of the best in-ring performers of 2018. Ambrose can really use a win here to get a push as a heel and for the feud to continue. I expect both to bring their A game and for this match to be a good one. I think Ambrose by some method defeats Rollins and wins the title.
Prediction: Dean Ambrose wins the IC Title
WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles
The YES! Movement has come to an end. After delivering a debilitating low blow to AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan shed his babyface and took the WWE Championship with him to the dark side. Heel Daniel Bryan is awesome, which goes to show how truly great Bryan is as he can play the good guy or the villain really well. AJ Styles enjoyed a long and eventful run as WWE Champion. It definitely came as a shock to witness him lose the title mere days before his scheduled rematch with Brock Lesnar. Bryan should keep the title until WrestleMania and he will retain at TLC.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins the match and retains
