For people who love to bet, Vegas has released the wins odds for each NBA team for the 2018-2019 season. A lot of people also like to debate how many wins each team will have during each NBA season and who will make the playoffs. We're still a little bit over a month away from my NBA season preview but during the meantime, I'll predict how many wins each team will have according to the Vegas odds.

For the western conference, Westgate has the Golden State Warriors projected to win 62.5 games. They will win more than 62 no doubt because of how stacked their roster is. Golden State will win close to 70 games.

The Houston Rockets are projected to win 54.5 games. They will won more than 54 games. I don't see the Rockets losing 11 more games with Carmelo Anthony on board.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are projected to win 50.5 games. They will be around that area. I expect them to win 50-52 games.

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz are both projected to win 48.5 games. That sounds about right for both teams, but it wouldn't be a surprise if both of those teams only win 45 games or win 52 games.

The Denver Nuggets are projected to win 47.5 games. That is perfect for them. In a tough western conference, they missed the playoffs with 46 wins and Denver has a much better roster this season and it will allow them to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-2013 season.

The New Orleans Pelicans are projected to win 45.5 games. I see why Westgate did this. It is because of how good of a player Anthony Davis is. I don't see New Orleans winning 45 games this season because they lost Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins. Jrue Holiday's health can never be trusted either. New Orleans will win no more than 40 games.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are projected to win 44.5 games. The Timberwolves have talent, but there seems to be an issue there with Jimmy Buttler and the young players. Coach Tom Thibadeau runs his players into the ground and it could cause them to miss the playoffs. Minnesota won't win more than 43 games.

The San Antonio Spurs are projected to win 43.5 games. The Spurs are well coached by Greg Popovich year in and year out. With Kawhi Leonard gone, San Antonio is heading into a new era, but it doesn't mean they'll miss the playoffs. They will win more than 43 games and the Spurs will win somewhere between 45-48 games.

The Portland Trail Blazers are projected to win 41.5 games. That sounds about right for them. They didn't do anything to improve the roster this offseason and some teams improved there roster.

The Los Angeles Clippers are projected to win 35.5 games. That sounds about right for them. They will be competitive, but the Clippers will not be a part of the upper echelon in the western conference.

The Memphis Grizzles are projected to win 34.5 games. I think they will win only between 15-25 games. Memphis is in a rebuilding phase and they have key injuries year in and year out.

The Dallas Mavericks are also projected to win 34.5 games. That sounds about right, but they will most likely win 30 games. Dallas upgraded the roster this offseason, but it will be difficult for them to make it to the playoffs in a tough western conference.

The Phoenix Suns are projected to win 28.5 games. They haven't been a playoff team since 2009-2010, but the Suns will be a surprise team in the west and they will win somewhere between 36-43 games this season.

The Sacramento Kings are projected to win 25.5 games. They haven't made the playoffs since the 2005-2006 season and the Kings will be the worst team in the western conference again this season. That sounds about right for them.

For the eastern conference, Westgate has projected the Boston Celtics to win 57.5 games next season. They will win 60-65 games next season and the Celtics are the best team in the east if they are fully healthy.

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors are projected to win 54.5 games. The Raptors will win more than 54 games. They will win 56-58 games. The 76ers will win less than 54. They will win between 50-52 games.

The Indiana Pacers are projected to win 47.5 games. They won 48 games last season. Indiana was a surprise last season after they traded away Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Damantos Sabonis. Oladipo had a breakout season and he is a super star in the making. The Pacers will win less than 48 games in 2018-2019. They'll win 44 or 45 games and be a playoff team.

The Milwaukee Bucks are projected to win 46.5 games. That sounds about right for them. They have a lot of potential and the Bucks could win 50 games, but the odds are they won't reach the 50-win mark.

The Washington Wizards are projected to win 44.5 games. This is very tricky. They have the potential to win more than that, but they can also win less than that. Washington upgraded the roster this offseason. The Wizards will win somewhere between 40-48 games.

The Miami Heat are projected to win 41.5 games. This is another tricky one. They are well coached, but this team is raw. Miami will games because of how good their defense is, but their offense is what will cost them games. Miami will win somewhere between 35-42 games.

The Detroit Pistons are projected to win 37.5 games. They will win more than 37 games because they have a new head coach in Dwane Casey and the Pistons do have talent to reach the playoffs in 2018-2019.

The Charlotte Hornets are projected to win 35.5 games. This is another team that could be hit or miss. They last made it to the playoffs in the 2015-2016 season. Steve Clifford is a good coach. Charlotte could win anywhere between 30-42 games.

The Brooklyn Nets are projected to win 32.5 games. They looked a lot better last season, but they only won 28 games. Brooklyn still isn't their yet as a franchise and they will win less than 33 games.

The Orlando Magic are projected to win 31.5 games. Other than drafting Mohamed Bamba, they didn't do much to improve the roster. Orlando only won 25 games last season and that is the amount they will probably win this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are projected to win 30.5 games. They could be really bad without Lebron James or they could be a surprise in the east like Indiana was last season. Rookie Collin Sexton could be that Victor Oladipo like player for the Cavaliers. Realistically, Ty Lue isn't that great of a coach and they win somewhere between 25-34 games this season.

The New York Knicks are projected to win 29.5 games. The Knicks could be a surprise in the east this season, but they are also going through a rebuilding phase. Rookies Mitchell Robinson and Kevin Knox could play a big role right away for the Knicks. They have a new head coach in David Fizdale. New York will win less than 30 games.

The Chicago Bulls are projected to win 27.5 games. They will win less than that and they will be one of the worst teams in the NBA.

The Atlanta Hawks are projected to win 23.5 games. They will win less than that and be the worst team in the NBA.
