MLB All-Star Rosters Announced

With the MLB All-Star Game set to take place next Tuesday, July 17, at Nationals Park in Washington D.C., the All-Star Rosters were announced on Sunday Evening. Each team will have at least one all-star. Which players are starting, reserves, and still have a chance to make the All-Star Game?

The American League Manager is A.J. Hinch of the Houston Astros. The starting catcher is Wilson Ramos of the Tampa Bay Rays. His batting average is .289 with 12 homeruns and 47 RBI's. The starting first baseman is Jose Abreu of the Chicago White Sox. His batting average is .259 with 12 homeruns and 50 RBI's, along with one stolen base. The starting second baseman is Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros. His batting average is .339 with eight homeruns and 43 RBI's, along with 13 stolen bases. The starting shortstop is Manny Machado of the Baltimore Orioles. His batting average is .310 with 21 homeruns and 60 RBI's, along with seven stolen bases. The starting third baseman is Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Indians. His batting average is .293 with 24 homeruns and 59 RBI's, along with 19 stolen bases. The starting outfield is Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, Mookie Betts of the Boston Red Sox, and Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels. The American League Roster is loaded compared to the National League Roster. The MLB All-Star Game is just for fun now and it doesn't mean anything for home field advantage in the World Series anymore.
