Nature, The Great Healer

As seasons change, we are guided to learn acceptance and non-resistance. A green leaf doesn’t resist turning red when Fall approaches. Trees do not resist leaves falling when the cold of winter arrives. They stand deeply rooted in the ground, with their vulnerability out in the open and their branches spread wide, surrendering to the Universe.

The river flows through the rocks like the sound of waves crashing upon the shore.

Pines stand tall and mighty in the distance.

The cliffs in all of their superior beauty surround and encapsulate the splendor that is this peaceful place

These elements teach us to be bold, to be strong willed and resilient in the darkness of all storms. They teach us to slow down and let go, to admire what is right here in front of us.

Nature teaches us to appreciate all that is. To subdue our egos, by reason of that with them we present ourselves to ubiquitous danger.

Mother Nature teaches us to be vulnerable, to live our own truth.

We can’t control and prepare for everything. On days when there is suppose to be sunshine, the rain may unexpectedly fall.

Through spending time in these glorious elements we learn to accept what is without trying to change the inevitable.

We will never comprehend the mysteries that lie ahead, for that is what makes this such a beautiful space. This is ever so comparable to our own lives and stories.

No matter what storms are passing, know it is always transient because beyond the clouds, the sky is always blue and the sun is always shining.
